Meet Mo Albers, affectionately known as "Mo," a dynamic individual whose life journey has been shaped by her rich upbringing in an ethnic South Omaha Community. Grateful for the diversity and a proud alumna of Omaha South High and pursued her passion for Public Relations and Interior Design at Patricia Stevens, Her quest led her to UNO' and Randall School of Real Estate, where she honed her skills in various aspects of contruction, design and real estate world. Mo's commitment to her profession extends beyond her 25 year role at Millard Lumber. She actively participates in several industry associations, including NAHB (National Association Home Builders), NARI (National Association Remodelers Industry), MOBA-WC (Metro Omaha Builders Association-Women’s Council), and ASID-AM (American Society Interior Designers-Allied Member). Her leadership qualities shine through her involvement on the board of MOBA-WC and NAHB-PWB (Professional Women Builders), where she served for many years and was eventually elected President of MOBA-WC. Mo has been recognized nationally with the NAHB-PWB "Best" Award for her outstanding efforts in organizing scholarship fundraising events.Her Architectural Hardware designs, color selections, and paint theory have graced the prestigious Street-Of-Dreams, Omaha Magazine, and Trends. Her work extends into thousands of homes, kitchens, baths, restaurants, and commercial spaces, leaving an enduring mark on Omaha's aesthetic landscape. A Realtor since 2020 at DVG Realty, excels in investments, first-time home buyers.Outside the professional realm, Mo finds joy with husband Jay, mother Kathy, sons Teddy and Johnny, and two grandchildren.,a cabin-loving adventurer and ATV, water, and boat enthusiast. She fosters community through "The Omaha River Rats" on FB. Mo co-owns Albers Contracting making waves in Omaha's premier construction scene.
